Cubs
Cubs are aged 7.5 - 10.5 and will move up to the scouts at age 11. They have loads of fun things to do. As a cub, you will get a chance to try lots of different activities and enter into district events and competitions against other packs.
The cubs have been camping in December and June; doing archery, crate climbing, caving, karting, orienteering, canoeing, playing new sports; visiting the police station and loads more.
They will also be working towards gaining badges to wear on their uniform. They must complete six challenges to achieve the top award a cub can gain - The Chief Scout's Silver Award.
We will try to get as many cubs involved in the various activities as possible, as teams for district events are restricted in numbers, we will endeavour to select different teams for different events.
Cubs meet every Friday evening from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm in the Cuningham Memorial Hall
Details of all badges and some of the competitions, games and programme activities the cubs have participated in to date, can be found on www2.scouts.org.uk/cubs/index.html
